Dress and Grooming Requirements 2009/10

You are also able to purchase all of your MWDA leotards and tights at our on-line store (see tab on left hand side), as well as at the Second Hand Sale in September. If you are interested in purchasing MWDA leotards, tights, ballet slippers or to book a pointe shoe fitting, please email divagear@shaw.ca. Classique Dancewear (formally Final Goal Athletics) is the exclusive store to sell MWDA dress requirements!

No jewellery (except for small studs for pierced ears). No gum chewing. No watches. No T-Shirts. Proper dress is required. Hair must be worn off the face and neck. For all classes (excluding Hip-Hop; ponytails are acceptable), hair must be worn in a bun, unless hair length prevents this.

Will be discussed at the first class. Please wear comfy clothes (no jeans) to the first class and bare feet.

Male Students

Plain White Socks
Black Leather Ballet Shoes with Elastics (except for jazz and tap – follow
female requirements)
